The Toronto Humane Society Avian Program helps rehabilitate birds in need of medical treatment or socialize birds if they are going to be adjusting to a home environment. Once the bird is ready for adoption it is made available to the public.

All available birds can be viewed on this page or through the Animals with Special Needs section of our website.

New bird guardians need to be experienced, or have done enough research on a specific breed before adopting. They are also required to have an appropriate size cage set up before taking any bird home.
