Obedience Training

The Toronto Humane Society recommends training your new canine companion with the help of a professional trainer. Training will help you establish a trusting and loving relationship with your new pet and will teach you and your dog how to behave, how to react and what is expected from each other.

The following are only a few of the many obedience training classes available in the Metropolitan Toronto area. If the groups listed below are not convenient for you, ask for a referral from your veterinarian or friend who has already attended training classes. A visit to a local class you are considering taking is highly recommended to see if you like the method of training they are using.

Please, if anyone at the class asks you to do something with your dog that you are uncomfortable with...Don’t do it!
