Dog Park

Thanks to your donations The Toronto Humane Society, has built a series of fenced-in dog parks at the rear of the shelter. In summmer, the park boast doggy wading pools so the dogs can take a dip or just splash around.

Our Canine Services team has also built an incredible obstacle course for our dogs to tackle, which Toronto Police Services has recently used for training.

Staff and volunteers can now ensure that our dogs do not spend their days in kennels, but can stretch their legs, work with our dog trainers, socialize with other dogs or just relax under a tree in a secure place.

The results we have seen in the dogs' behaviour and training has really improved their chances of finding the right home.
