Cat Grooming Program

Cat Grooming ProgramVolunteer cat groomers provide the shelter cats with much-needed socialization and TLC while they are in the adoption rooms waiting to find their forever homes.

The cats do not spend much time out of their cages and a friendly visit from a volunteer can be just what is needed to lift their spirits!

Training is done in groups of about 10-20 people, followed by a one-on-one session (same day).

Volunteers must be able to commit to two hours per week for a minimum of six months.

A current tetanus shot is also a mandatory requirement.

For more information email a Feline Services coordinator, or call 416.392.2273, ext. 2122.
