There are many items that The Toronto Humane Society needs on a regular basis. These items are used to help the staff make life at the society better for those animals who are here for recovery or are waiting for adoption. Please take a moment to look at our wishlist below. If you have any of these items, which are of no further use to you, and want to help, do not hesitate to drop them off at the shelter.

Donations can be dropped off at the front desk between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Please include your name and address so we can thank you for your kindness. If you have any questions, call 416.392.2273.

Regrettably, we cannot issue tax receipts for donated wish list items.

Dog beds including, comforters, large bedding, quilts (please no sheets or pillow cases)

Small beds for the litters of kittens and their mothers

Hot water bottles

Cat, dog and small domestic toys
(we prefer dog toys such as Kongs, Nyla Bones, Dog Ropes etc… we cannot accept any tennis balls or small thin rubber squeaky toys). 
Please remove all eyes, noses, ect. off any stuffed animals if they are made of plastic or any other object that the dog may possibly swallow.

Cat, dog and bird treats

Dry cat/kitten, dog and fish food

Bird treats and toys (bells, mirrors)

Kitten formula (milk replacer)

Wool

Lysol or Clorox disinfecting wipes

Solid Air Fresheners

Aquarium Filter charcoal

Aquarium Filter Fiber

Aqua Plus (aquarium tap water conditioner)

2 15/25 watt clear aquarium bulbs

Aquarium gravel cleaner

Upright refrigerator/freezer with double doors in good condition

Digital Scale (that calculates to one tenth of a gram)

Triple beam balance

Tread mill in good condition
