As long as your pet is properly identified, your local humane society or animal control service will have no problem reuniting you and your lost pet.

How to Look for Lost Pets:

  1. Call the veterinarians in your area
  2. Place signs accurately describing your pet in grocery stores, on street posts, in laudromats.
  3. Place an ad in the newspaper and check the "Found Pets" section daily.
  4. Announce your pet's description over the public address system at local schools.
  5. Visit all local animal shelters to look for your lost pet.
