Biggie

Biggie "On the Monday of the holiday May 24th holiday weekend in 2005 we went to the Humane Society and found Biggie. He was 4 and had been surrendered because his previous owners were moving. They'd named after the rapper Biggie Smalls (aka Notorious B.I.G.) we thought about changing his name but he responds to it. That first day in the shelter he hugged us with his front paws when we picked him up so we decided to give him and rap music a try :)

He has become the centre of our household. He is an incredible suck who demands your lap to sit on and cries for us to pick him up and hold him like a baby, he then immediately starts purring.

We are known as crazy cat people now - we send out more pictures of him than our friends with new babies and children do. On a recent trip to London England we took 78 pictures - meanwhile we have over 160 photos of him on our computer at home.

Everyday we look at him and think how lucky we are to have him.

Thank you Toronto Humane Society for taking care of cats like Biggie until they find their new homes."

Shana, Glenn and Biggie.
