Babs

Babs "I adopted Babs, a lab chow mix, from The Toronto Humane Society in January 1992. She had been brought in by a young couple who no longer could care for her. She was born on January 10, 1991 according to her records and had been at the shelter for about four months.

Babs wasn’t my first choice but the attendant really pushed for her adoption and I couldn’t say no. I’ve never been sorry. She was a wonderful addition to our household. She loves her car rides and walks. Most days we would go the leash free area in High Park and in 1999 I moved to Wasaga Beach where we continued our long walks only along the beach (she loves the water) or we would go along the hiking trails.

She turned 15 years this past January and we still walk but not very far."
