"My name is Joey and boy, did I ever win the kitty lottery! On August 13th, 2006, it will be 8 years since my mommy busted me out of jail…err adopted me from the Toronto Humane Society. It felt like jail because nobody wanted to adopt me and the one person who did, brought me back after 2 weeks. I was an older kitty about 5-7 years old and I was living in that cold little cage for almost two months before she came along.  She fell in love with me at first sight and I let her lavish me with hugs and kisses and anything a kitty could ask for.

Since then, I have gained a daddy and my sister Aurora and more love than I could ever have expected.  I get to sleep anywhere I want including on the pillow wrapped around their heads at bedtime and of course their laps.  Sleeping is my favourite hobby!  I could never have asked for a life better then the one I am living now.

Thanks for taking such good care of me Mommy and Daddy and Happy 8th Anniversary.

Love always."

Joey.
