Dove

Dove ""DOVE" our happy tail story. On May 12, 2007 we visited THS to view your adoptable dogs. Eagerly we waited for your doors to open for viewing. We walked by the dogs in this one room and only one did not bark, DOVE, so we knew she was the one. We filled out the adoption forms and was interviewed, by Ryan. At first he had concerns because we lived in an apartment and DOVE had anxiety seperation and barked and whined at times, but we convinced Ryan and so the process began. DOVE needed to be spayed and microchipped, so we had to wait to get her and it was hard leaving without her.

By the Wednesday, May 16, 2007 we had not heard anything. My husband told me to take Thursday, May 17,

2007 off work and we left the Wednesday evening and headed to Toronto once again. Early on Thursday we went back to THS, and could not find DOVE and we thought she had maybe been adopted to someone else and this saddened us.Then it just happened Ryan saw us and told us he was about to call us as DOVE was ready to go, that she had been spayed and microchipped, so about 2 hours later, there we went to start our lives with DOVE and give her the best home she could possibly want. It's been almost 3 weeks now and she has overcome alot of things. We had some training and her separation anxiety is almost gone, her crate training is great, and her aggressiveness to other dogs is almost none exsistent. She has seen her new vet, gotten alot of toys to keep her mind busy and she is just a great girl. Her kennel cough is still being treated, but she is getting better. So just wanted to say THANK YOU for giving us this chance to adopt DOVE.

Rest assured she is in a great, loving home with people who will do there best by her, cause she deserves nothing less.

Special THANK YOU TO RYAN he was a very big part of making this happen."

Evelyn and William.
