Lucky

At first glance, this may look like an incredibly sad story. After all, Lucky, a 9-old shitzhu passed away on Valentine’s Day – a day dedicated to love and happiness and life. But owners Sue Byford and Scot Stewart prefer to celebrate his life rather than lament his passing. So they bundled up a much needed load of towels, blankets, toys and other dog items and brought it to The Toronto Humane Society as part of that life celebration. While the actual event of death may be sad, the life of Lucky was truly a tail of happiness.
