Christmas in a Shelter is No Place to Be

Toronto (December 15, 2006) – The Toronto Humane Society is holding an Adopt-a-thon which will take place over the holiday period, between December 15 '06 and January 04 '07. Our shelter is literally full to the brim with cats and dogs, all of which are desperately in need of a good, loving home. We are running out of space and a lot of the animals at the Society are now living in the shelter hallways. Hopefully, with the help of the community and the media we can empty the shelter of these lonely animals and fill hundreds of homes with the ultimate gift of love and affection.

Holiday Adopt-A-Thon
Dec. 15 '06 - Jan. 04 '07

Adoption hours:
Monday - Friday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Note: Pets should not be adopted as surprise gifts.

There will be no adoptions on December 24 and 25.
