Toronto Maple Leaf Darcy Tucker reunited with his lost dog, HarleyToronto Maple Leaf Darcy Tucker reunited with his lost dog, Harley

Every year The Toronto Humane Society shelters hundreds of lost dogs. Some end up in the adoption program and find new, loving homes, but most are claimed by relieved (and often frantic) owners.

Recently, Harley, a nervous but cuddly wheaten terrier, found himself at our shelter. His owner, Toronto Maple Leaf winger Darcy Tucker, spotted Harley on our website and rushed to the shelter to collect him.

“He somehow got out of the yard,” says Tucker. “And the kids have been frantic ever since. There will be some very happy kids in my house tonight.”
