A backyard to call her own...

   Tiffy

Tiffy hasn’t just found a home, she’s thriving. Tiffy is a beautiful 10-year-old German shepherd with a great disposition and a sweet face. When she came to us in August 2007, Tiffy had to be carried from the car on a gurney because she was so thin and unable to walk. Her owner no longer wanted Tiffy. It’s a sad fate that befalls too many animals, with needs as they get older, but it is by no means the end of this story. Now, because of our dedicated vets, canine staff and volunteers, we’re happy to report Tiffy’s regained some of her mobility. She will get on-going palliative care for the rest of her life because every animal deserves a chance and because we at the Toronto Humane Society believe there is a good home out there for every animal. Tiffy is proof positive of that as you can see in the accompanying photo provided by Tiffy’s new family. Tiffy is not just doing well, she’s thriving in her new home and in a backyard she can call her own.
