Memu is a lovely 5 year old, in-door short haired cat. She's black and white and small for her age. She's a little on the shy side with strangers, but she's very loving and friendly with the one who cares for her. She sleeps at the foot of my bed every night and comes for cuddles every morning. She's interacted with other cats on a few occasions and has been fine with them. I don't think she'd do well with dogs due to her shy nature, but I think she'd be OK with the right dog. She'd be perfect with a single person or a couple. Young children might be a bit much for her. Tiger needs a new home. I have a new son and the more mobile he becomes the harder Tiger is finding life. It also seems that our son, like his Dad, is allergic to Tiger. Tiger is almost 10 years old and probably needs a quiet home with no other pets. He will probably need someone with a lot of patience to help him readjust. He likes to be around people and his happy sleeping near on his blanket. He is an indoor cat, is neutered and has all his claws. Due to worsening allergies, we must rehome our lovely dog, Roxanne. Roxanne is nearly 9 years old, and very happy and healthy and well-trained. Roxanne likes cats and loves people, whether adults or children. However, she does not like other dogs. She is fearful of them, and is aggressive in that fear. It would be best if she lived somewhere with a fenced in yard, so her outdoor time could be stress free. One walk a day makes her very happy. Roxanne is very well trained and still likes her crate. She does not go on furniture. She is loving and happy and a bit chatty! Her only health issue has been one case of fleas. She is a very cute mid-large sized mutt. One quarter German Shepherd, one quarter Collie, and perhaps one half golden lab? She has been pure joy to us, but we must make this move now. Jada is looking for a new home. Our family has grown and she has not adjusted well to the changes of a little one trying to play with her. Wisper is looking for a new home. He is 11 years old and needs to find a home where he can fulfill that last few years of his life. He does get nervous around small animals and children and due to that reason I must find him a home. I have two young children and since they do not know the proper way to approach a dog, Wisper poses a risk. He would do great in a house with adults or large dogs. He loves to go on walks and even at his old age he still has lots of energy. He was taught tricks such as how to bow, speak, wave, and shake paw. He also loves to jump over agility jumps. He's like a mini horse! I would love to keep him but due to his nervous aggression I cannot. He also makes an amazing guard dog who only barks when a stranger comes to the door. He's up to date with all his shots and of course he is neutered. We are not 100% on what breed he is but I assume he might be part greyhound or lab.Just out of curiosity, we will DNA test him to find out what breeds he is. Tigger is a calico tabby that we have rescued from an abusive home. She desperately needs a loving family to give her the fresh start she deserves. Tigger is approximately 2-3 years old and was abandoned by her owners when she became pregnant. She has suffered neglect and abuse but has proved to be a loving, independent girl who would be best suited to a home where she is the only cat. We have grown very fond of this resilient soul, but have other rescued cats and cannot provide her with the full attention she needs. Tigger would be suited to a family with mature children. Her claws are intact, and she is comfortable indoors/outdoors, but we would ask she not be left outside exclusively. Cleo is a beautiful, male, orange tabby with the most intricate, lovely patterns on his fur. Cleo is a rescue who has suffered abuse, neglect and most recently, a broken leg. He has healed physically, but emotionally still needs some help. He is loving, affectionate, and quite possibly the most gentle little boy around. He is approximately 1 1/2 years old. His claws are intact and is not neutered, but this can be arranged at our expense. His mother, who is also a rescue in need of adoption, had a litter in the summer and Cleo stepped in and helped take care of the babies, cleaning them, and following them to make sure they were safe. Lawnmower (aka Mo) is a very handsome orange and white DLH cat. He was born in May 2005 and is spayed. He was just recently seen by the vet and given a clean bill of health as well as receiving the 3 year rabies vaccine and the FVRCP vaccine. He is a very lovely little man who can be shy at first but does not take long to warm up. He loves snuggling in bed at night and hiding under the covers when he gets a little scared. He loves getting pets and is very good with kids. He gets along with other cats but is not a fan of dogs. He would be a great only cat but would also make a good buddy to another cat. He does enjoy exploring the outdoors in the nice warm weather but definitely stays close to home as he is a home body. Gypsy is a 3 years old (DOB: Dec 1, 2009) pure breed miniature poodle. He is neutered, registered with Brampton, micro-chipped and fully up to date on all vaccinations. He loves to play with his feline friends and canine friends. He also loves children too except when he is startled. He is fully trained, very loving, very intelligent and very affectionate. At night, he goes into his crate to sleep until morning! He is a good boy when he is home alone. He does need a lot of physical and mental stimulation which our family is unable to provide with really bad schedules.
