Welcome to the Toronto Humane Society’s first-ever satellite adoption centre, located in the Van Horne Plaza in North York. The Adoption Centre is a pet-focused facility designed to create easy access for Torontonians living in the north and east ends of the GTA.

Like the main shelter, the Adoption Centre is a great place to adopt dogs, cats, small domestic animals, birds and reptiles.

Unlike the main River Street location, the Adoption Centre is not a shelter, and as such does not take in strays, owner-surrenders or injured pets or wildlife. Those functions are performed ONLY at the River Street location
