DESCRIPTION:Lazy weekend advocate and celebrated nap queen\, Luna is a sweetie pie who thrives in quiet\, calm environments where it’s just her and her favourite cuddle mates. She’s always down for movie night\, and will never say no to a treat or a long brush session! \n Luna is not about noise or any kind commotion. She’s the kinda girl who needs calm and quiet spots to collect her thoughts and relax. If libraries hired cats\, she’d totally apply just so she could have a spot to hang out with a no-talking policy. Plus\, there’d be a ton of neat spots for her to jump up on and people watch! \n If Luna could tell people to keep it down\, she would! She’d tell them she’s got a whole bag of “shh”\, with their name on it! But because she can’t communicate her displeasure with words\, she has been known to act out when there’s been too many guests or too much noise at the home. In the past\, she has bitten and scratched when she was annoyed or frightened by new guests or noise. She’s also acted out by peeing on people’s belongings. While this may have gotten her point across\, it’s definitely not appropriate behaviour! \n Not being a fan of noise or the hustle and bustle of a busy home\, Luna isn’t a fan of children. They’re just too much! She’s looking for a mature home without children or any other pets. Most importantly\, she hopes to find a home that’s quiet\, patient\, and stable. She’s an incredibly social girl who loves exploring and making new friends\, it’s just that she doesn’t quite have the energy she used to have. Fun\, yet slow paced walks and play dates are what she likes! \n  Jade loves everyone under the sun. She loves meeting new people\, and is always excited to get a head rub from both stranger and friend alike! She’s the kind of gal who’s lived long enough to appreciate the small things in life. She likes to smell the roses on her walks and listen to the rain patter against the windows on her bed! \n  She’s currently living in a loving foster home\, but is hoping to find a more permanent set up with a big comfy couch where she can spend the rest of her days! Jade loves everyone\, including children. She’d only ask they appreciate her older age and health condition. A calm\, quiet home on the mature side is her dream. DESCRIPTION:Shawn and Carl are the Bert and Ernie of the guinea pig world. Piggie pals for life\, these two do everything together\, from playing chase around their den to sitting down to enjoy some foraged herbs\, vegetables\, and other delicacies. They love getting together to chew on some finely crafted paper towel and toilet paper rolls while their favourite music plays in the background. What is their favourite music\, you might ask? These two have developed an appreciation for soft voices and the quiet humming of background noise\, performed by the Toronto Humane Society Symphony Orchestra. They’re a real pair of gentleman. \n  Their most FAVOURITE thing\, however\, is snuggling together. If there was an award for best snuggling couple\, these would win. Hands down. \n  Shawn and Carl are looking for a loving family who will let them continue being the cutest\, bestest buddies in the whole wide world. They only ask that you provide them with a cage large enough\, so they can have a house\, litter box and bowls! When picking out a cage for your future guinea pig\, or custom building one yourself\, aim for a cage with dimensions 36″L x 24″W x 18″H or larger\, especially for multiple guinea pigs. Remember: all guinea pigs need around 4 hours of playtime outside of their cage each day.
