DESCRIPTION:There are a lot of questions out there these days about COVID-19 and how it could impact you and/or your pet. One of the most important things to make note of through these times is as of today\, April 9\, 2020\, there has been absolutely no evidence that your pet can transmit the virus to you. The biggest risk to humans is other humans. Maintaining physical distancing measures is important for your protection and your pet’s. Although\, there is no evidence that our pets can transmit the virus to us there is evidence to support that they can in-fact get COVID-19 from us. \n  During a time where there are a whirlwind of questions going around\, and information is changing daily\, we wanted to provide you with a few options to follow to stay up to date when it comes to COVID-19 and our pets. Toronto Humane Society is here for those with no other options for their pets.
