We adopted Iris (formerly Cici) on February 7th, 2021 from Toronto Humane Society. Our experience with Toronto Humane Society has been wonderful. Everybody is super helpful and prompt.

Due to COVID-19, there have been a lot of restrictions and we could not meet Iris in person. We were looking for a cat who is playful, active, friendly, and affectionate. Guess what! Iris is a delight and fits all the criteria.

She is our first cat, and we were worried about getting her comfortable in the house and with us. But this pretty lady did not need all that! The moment she entered the house, she just jumped out of the box and started exploring everything. She was super friendly and loving. That was very, very adorable and we fell in love with her right at that moment.

Iris gets zoomies every morning and night, and she has a unique way of inviting us to play with her. You just can’t say no to that! Iris also has a very unique and cute way of meowing. It feels like she is purring and meowing at the same time. The sound is kind of ‘purr-eow’.

We are very happy to have Iris in our lives as she keeps us going each and every day during these COVID-19 times. She is a wonderful companion and addition to our family.
