November 16, 2020

I had been thinking of adopting an adult/senior cat for a while. Mission accomplished! Brought Ralphie (formerly Harley) home in early November, 2020. He’s my good boy!

Ralphie is a sweet, chill, cuddly boy who loves the couch and playing with string.

He purrs and nudges my hand with his head when he wants some good head scratches.

He had diabetes but is now in remission! He eats a high protein, low carb diet. He LOVES Pure Bites. Those are his treats. Interestingly enough, he has encouraged me to lower my carb intake since we both have the diabetes, ha!

I named him after one of my favourite childhood novels, “The Mouse and the Motorcycle” by Beverly Cleary. It’s about a mouse living in a run-down hotel who seeks adventure by riding a toy motorcycle down hallways and into rooms. How fitting considering his foster name was Harley!

I found Ralphie and Ralphie has found his forever home.
