I adopted Zephyr (formerly Spruce) on January 6. As you can see from the photo, he is a very handsome fellow. He was rescued from a colony less than two months ago, but there is nothing aggressive about him. He is just a bit wild.

I had to get him his own exercise equipment pretty fast. All the toys I bought him have disappeared in the crevices of my apartment. For the life of me, I can’t find any of them.

At first, I didn’t hear a sound out of him, but now we are often in deep conversation. He follows me around and makes me laugh.

I’d like to thank Toronto Humane Society for their care and attention in the adoption process. Cassandra and Madison were brilliant and patient facilitators, and it was so reassuring to hear from Zephyr’s foster parent before adopting him.

I wanted a calm and mature cat to match its owner, but instead I got this ball of energy and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for everything.
