Pet of the Week – Luna

Lazy weekend advocate and celebrated nap queen, Luna is a sweetie pie who thrives in quiet, calm environments where it’s just her and her favourite cuddle mates. She’s always down for movie night, and will never say no to a treat or a long brush session!

Luna is not about noise or any kind commotion. She’s the kinda girl who needs calm and quiet spots to collect her thoughts and relax. If libraries hired cats, she’d totally apply just so she could have a spot to hang out with a no-talking policy. Plus, there’d be a ton of neat spots for her to jump up on and people watch!

If Luna could tell people to keep it down, she would! She’d tell them she’s got a whole bag of “shh”, with their name on it! But because she can’t communicate her displeasure with words, she has been known to act out when there’s been too many guests or too much noise at the home. In the past, she has bitten and scratched when she was annoyed or frightened by new guests or noise. She’s also acted out by peeing on people’s belongings. While this may have gotten her point across, it’s definitely not appropriate behaviour!

Not being a fan of noise or the hustle and bustle of a busy home, Luna isn’t a fan of children. They’re just too much! She’s looking for a mature home without children or any other pets. Most importantly, she hopes to find a home that’s quiet, patient, and stable. She is such sweet girl, she just needs a quiet and laid back place where she can show it!
