Team Experience Day

Our Team Experience Day allows teams to experience connection building at our facility in Toronto. By participating in a Team Experience Day, you will directly help to improve the lives of animals. Participants will learn about our operations and what it takes day-to-day to help strengthen the human-animal bond. Your team will interact with and participate in projects that will help to enrich the lives of our animals. Projects will vary depending on the needs of the organization and may include creating enrichment toys for animals, helping in the Community Food Bank, assisting with administrative tasks, preparing animal beds, sorting in kind donations or helping spruce up areas of the building.

By participating in our  Team Experience Days and volunteering your time, you and your team will be making a huge impact for animals at Toronto Humane Society, in our community and those beyond our community borders. At the end of the day, you and your team will feel the impact you have made.  

Team Experience Day Opportunities

Choose from an onsite connection building experience on its own or add a virtual group training experience to engage more of your team members (up to 300 participants) after the onsite experience. Check out more details on the options below and fill out the Request Form when you are ready to book!

Action Packed Team Experience

2 Hour Experience
$ 1500 Contribution
  • Onsite Group Experience at Toronto Humane Society
  • Suitable for 10-12 team members
  • 45-60 minute tour
  • Volunteer Activity - such as making pet enrichment toys, bagging food for our Pet Food Bank, or assisting with a Community Day event
  • Animal Interaction (subject to suitability and animal comfort level)

Team Experience Days are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for a morning or afternoon session based on availability.

Day of Caring Team Experience

2 Hour Experience + Virtual Group Training Experience
$ 2500 Contribution
  • Everything the Action Packed Team Experience offers plus a Virtual Group Training Experience
  • 60-minute animal training class, followed by a 30-minute Q&A opportunity
  • Learn to teach foundational targeting behaviours and turn them into fun tricks from a certified animal trainer
  • Cats, dogs and other species are welcome to join the Virtual Group Training Experience! Participants can choose to turn their camera on or off.

Team Experience Days are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for a morning or afternoon session. The Virtual Training Experience is available Monday – Friday after 12pm.

*Team Experience Days provide an experience for your group. Because of this, according to CRA Regulations, we are unable to issue a tax receipt for Team Experience Day contributions. If your team would like to fundraise and need some ideas to help get you started, please let us know.
