When you choose to donate a Gift-in-Kind to our organization, you provide necessary resources for animals’ in-need. Not only are you supporting homeless animals but you are also supporting pets and pet-parents in our communities which helps to keep families together.
Gift-in-Kind donations are non-cash gifts. They are vital in sustaining the work we do every day for the animals in our care and for animals in our community.
Gift-in-Kind donations help support the animals in our care, vulnerable pet-owning community members, or partner organizations such as human supportive shelters or other animal welfare agencies. Depending on the needs at the time of your donation, our team will determine the best place they can be used.
Common items we are always in need of are pet food and animal care supplies including food bowls, Kong’s, rope toys or leashes. Other supplies such as clean blankets, towels and grooming tools are also always welcome.
*Please note while we are grateful for all donations received, for the health & safety of our animals, we are unable to accept any opened food items.
We evaluate each donation on a case by case basis and contributions are accepted depending on the current needs at our building.
For larger in-kind donations tax receipts are also available, please connect with our fundraising team in advance if you are looking for a receipt for your in-kind donation.
