I adopted Zucchini (previously May) about 1 year ago, when she was ~9 years old. It has not always been seamless, but as one of Toronto Humane Society’s volunteers had told me, the time and effort it took to get to where we are today made it all the more rewarding.

Although she is quite anxious, Zucchini is a very brave and inquisitive cat. She can’t get enough head scratches and absolutely loves playing with wand toys. I want to thank her foster parents for the wand toy. It remains her favourite, as you can see from the photo where she has brought it into her bed to nap with.

She is happiest sleeping just beside me, a professional biscuit maker, and so gentle (as long as you don’t try to touch her feet). Thank you for bringing so much joy to our lives!
