Bubba is a big, friendly bear of a dog who was brought to us as a stray.  This photo captures his spirit but doesn’t do justice to his 70lbs of playful energy.   

During his intake exam, our veterinary team found that Bubba was suffering from lameness in his back legs and an infection in both his ears.  The ear infection was causing Bubba a lot of pain, making him growl and act out whenever someone got close to his ears.  Our animal training and behaviour team worked closely with him, using our Fear Free approach, to make him feel safe and comfortable taking his ear medication.  Bubba is doing well and was recently declared medically cleared for adoption.
