Just wanted to give you guys an update on King as I know he was the office favourite.
Week one has been great! He’s been left at home for around 3 – 3 1/2 hours at a time and has been absolute gem (free run of house). He’s getting 3 walks a day and sleeps very well on his own. Most mornings he doesn’t want to get up!
He seems to have adjusted quite well and settling in nicely. He is able to be at home for 4 hours at a time and either watches the world go by or sleeps in his new bed (after trying 2 others). He has a dog walker now and they get along great. Maybe a little too great for my liking!
Turns out he’s a bit of a fussy eater but we’re keeping an eye on it. He’s had 2 weeks of antibiotics and steroids so that could also have something to do with it. He had a follow up with the vet yesterday and everything checks out.
He’s lost about 10lbs just by keeping him active and diet. He looks like a different dog!
That’s it for now! He’s a happy boy and we couldn’t be happier either!
