Zimba
Zimba
Do you like to play with laser tags and feather toys? You and Zimba might be the perfect match.
Initially shy, Zimba takes a little time to warm up to new faces, but once he feels comfortable, he absolutely enjoys petting and affection. His gentle purrs and head nudges will quickly melt your heart.
Despite his initial shyness, Zimba is brimming with youthful energy. He loves to play and can often be found chasing after toys or exploring his surroundings with curious enthusiasm. Whether it's a feather wand or a crinkly ball, Zimba's playful antics are sure to bring joy and laughter to his new home.
Zimba has been diagnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD), a common condition in cats that affects the bladder and urethra. FLUTD can cause discomfort and urinary issues, and it requires careful management.
Zimba will need a loving family that is willing to support him with special dietary needs to help prevent urinary crystals and stones. This usually involves feeding him prescription cat food designed to maintain urinary health. Staying hydrated is also crucial for a cat with FLUTD so he'll need fresh water and encouragement to drink throughout the day.
And last, but certainly not least in Zimba's list of forever-home needs, he'll need a clean and stress-free environment for his litterbox. Please and thank you!
Zimba's condition is manageable with the right care, and he is well worth the effort. In return, he promises to fill your home with his playful energy and loving companionship. If you are ready to open your heart and home to a special cat like Zimba, please visit us at 11 River Street to start the adoption process and a new chapter filled with love and fun.
