Animal Transport Program: Collaborating Across Communities to Save More Lives

we believe that addressing animal homelessness requires collaboration, compassion, and action. Through our Animal Transport Program, we work closely with partner organizations across Ontario, Canada, and North America to ensure animals in overburdened regions receive the shelter, care, and opportunity they deserve.

Expanding Reach Through Strategic Partnerships

Many communities face challenges like pet overpopulation, limited shelter capacity, or access to veterinary services. Our transport program aims to alleviate these pressures by welcoming animals into our care and placing them into loving homes—often within weeks. These transfers not only help individual animals but also reduce euthanasia rates across entire regions.

We have built a growing network of trusted partners, including humane societies, rescue groups, and community agencies. Together, we create a united front against pet homelessness.

A Few Current Transport Network Partners include:

  • Kingston Humane Society
  • The Humane Society of Durham Region
  • Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society
  • Burlington Humane Society
  • Oakville and Milton Humane Society

Beyond Transport: A Holistic Approach

Transporting animals is just one part of the solution. Our long-term goal is to help address the root causes of pet overpopulation so that transport and relocation services are no longer necessary. We work with communities on an individual basis to provide access to preventative care, spay/neuter services, and education programs that promote sustainable animal welfare.
