We want to give a massive thanks to BOBS from Skechers and Petco Love for their generosity in supporting Toronto Humane Society’s mission to improve the lives of animals. BOBS from Skechers and Petco Love are honouring our life-saving efforts with a $10,000 CAD Petco Love grant.

This contribution is the latest in Skechers’ mission to donate funds through purchases of its diverse collection of BOBS shoes, apparel, and accessories. Petco Love is a nonprofit changing lives by making communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier.

Yesterday morning, representatives from BOBS from Skechers and Toronto Humane Society, as well as a furry Toronto Humane Society alumni, February, all gathered together to receive this generous donation.

It was a touching affair, made even more special to see one of our unique adoption cases thriving in the loving care of their forever home.

February came to us with 16 other dogs through our rescue transport program, originally living in a large scale hoarding situation with 40 other animals. Toronto Humane Society provided all 16 dogs with necessary behavioural support and extensive medical treatments.

As a non-profit organization, donations like the one we received yesterday allow us to continue to provide the life-saving work that we do. Life-saving work that provided February (and her sibling Graham) the opportunity at a second chance, a life free of pain, suffering and disease and a permanent forever home.
