Junn

Junn

| September 25, 2021

Junn, a sweet, shy Shepherd mix, was transferred to Toronto Humane Society with a severely infected wound on his right shoulder. The additional abrasions and wounds on his body suggested he had been involved in a traumatic event.

The wounds and abrasions were cared for and Junn was given antibiotics to treat the infection.

Once Junn was up and about our medical team noticed he was dragging his right, front foot.  X-rays didn’t show anything of concern and neither did a neurological exam, so Junn was seen by our Certified Rehabilitation Practitioner who set up weekly appointments and prescribed gentle heat and massages to help improve his walk.

Within a few weeks there was marked improvement. Junn was lifting his paws when walking and his flexibility was returning.

Junn has been adopted.
