He’s tall, talented, athletic – and an animal lover with a big heart! Zach Edey, a proud Canadian National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) basketball player visited us on August 19th to promote a message that means a lot to him and to everyone at Toronto Humane Society: adopt, not shop. 

As someone who has adopted and rescued pets himself, Zach testifies to the valuable impact of adopting and giving an animal a second chance and speaks to the importance of the human-animal bond. Check out the video  below!
