I would like to share a cheerful update on two gerbils that I adopted back in January, Cookie and Oreo. These sweet babies were in separate enclosures in the shelter and after much consideration, I decided to take a chance on bringing them both home to start the (re)bonding process.

I was a little nervous, but I did my research and carefully followed the instructions for bonding gerbils. I took it slowly to give them a chance to adjust to me and their new home. I’m very pleased to say that the bonding process has gone well and they are now cuddle buddies!

Needless to say, I adore these sweet little souls.
