Happy Tails

We adopted Benji (formerly Udon) on September 16th, 2021. We brought him back to Fergus and immediately tried to make him the most spoiled dog on Earth. Below are a few of the things we love about him:

  • We worked on playing fetch from an early age and now he is a pro.
  • He will eat his meals faster than we can put them in front of him, so we have a slow feeder ball that he plays with and has become a great soccer player.
  • Every time he yawns he screams a little bit. Probably the husky in him coming out
  • He loves beds, pillows, and toys. If he doesn’t fall asleep on one of his beds, he has dragged a toy underneath him to use as a pillow
  • We had his DNA analyzed by Embark to determine his breed make up. It definitely surprised us that he’s 50% Golden Retriever and 12% Husky, given how much he looks like a German Shepherd!

Thanks again for all your help in the adoption process. Everyone who meets Benji leaves happy. We cannot imagine life without him.
