Ellie and I have had a wonderful first week together and I already can’t imagine life without her! She was a bit nervous at first, but I gave her some space and made everything comfortable for her, and after the first day or two she gradually settled in and made herself at home.
Now she seems to really be settled and happy here and has figured out that it is her forever home. She loves to give me a little “meow” when she walks into a room or when she wants attention, she loves napping in her fuzzy pink cat bed, and she loves sitting on the big windowsills and watching the world go by. She also enjoys cat nip and playing with her toys.
She has been eating and using her litterbox without issues, and overall, she seems to be a very happy girl. I love her so much already and I’m so happy to be her forever family. Thank you to everyone at Toronto Humane Society for taking such good care of Ellie and for facilitating my adoption of her! I am so grateful to be able to give Ellie her forever home!
