My husband and I adopted June on July 23^rd, 2021.

From what we know, June traveled quite a bit through shelters and a foster home before finally uniting with us in her forever home.

We were prepared to put in a lot of time and patience while she adjusts to her new surroundings, but surprisingly she seemed to adjust to us and her new home pretty quickly.

We both absolutely fell in love with her the moment we saw her. She has brought us more joy and love than we can handle everyday.

She was quite at first, but it wasn’t too long before she made many new dog friends. She has really come out of her shell.

She loves to play, is quite a character, and there is no shortage of cuddles. She makes us laugh and smile – she has become a big part of our family.

Thank you to all the staff at Toronto Humane Society, and thank you to her foster parents for taking such good care of our June – she’s hasn’t forgotten you! One of her favourite toys is still the koala you gave us. I know she will never forget you and will always have a place in her heart for you.
