When Lara, an adventurous young cat, fell from a 19th-story balcony, her future seemed uncertain. Found the next day in the bushes, she was rushed to our medical team in critical condition. Lara had a collapsed lung, fractured bones, and blood clots—her injuries were severe, and without immediate intervention, she wouldn’t survive.
Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, Lara got the life-saving treatments she needed, including a critical procedure to stabilize her lung. After weeks of recovery and ongoing care, this spunky one-year-old is back on her feet, still full of energy and curiosity.
Lara’s family didn’t have the financial resources to cover the extensive emergency care she needed, but your donations kept Lara in the picture. She has been reunited with her loving family, ready to start a new chapter—one with fewer gravity-defying stunts!
Cinnabunny, a 7-year-old dwarf rabbit, arrived at our shelter as a stray in dire need of medical attention. Underweight and suffering from severe dental disease, her tiny mouth was filled with fractured teeth and sharp points that caused her immense pain. Despite her strong will, Cinnabunny was struggling to eat, and her condition was worsening.
With the support of donors, we were able to refer her to a specialist, who performed surgery to remove her damaged teeth.
Although Cinnabunny’s recovery isn’t over—she’ll need another surgery to ensure she can eat comfortably—we’re confident that she’s on the path to a healthier, happier life.
