Boon

| October 1, 2021

Boon was two months old when he was transferred to Toronto Humane Society from another rescue organization after he tested positive for ringworm. Boon had scaly spots on his chin, front paws, and head so it was easy to see there was an issue.

During his intake exam, our medical team noted that he had dark brown debris in his ears. A swab was taken but no ear mites were found. Boon purred throughout his exam and the general consensus was that he was the sweetest boy, perfection. Boon had his first sulfur dip right after his intake. Sulfur dips and antifungal medication are the best treatments for getting rid of ringworm.

Boon has gone to foster while he recovers from ringworm.
