Toadette was born in care at Toronto Humane Society.
When Toadette was delivered she had no heartbeat and our medical staff worked quickly to revive her.
Toadette and her eight siblings are in a foster home with their mom, as they are young and still nursing. Toadette is doing well, she is gaining weight (her foster mom weighs her each day) and is comfortable around people. Our behaviour department is in touch regularly with her foster family, giving advice on what can be done to help Toadette, and her siblings reach their age-appropriate milestones.
Once Toadette is old enough, she will be spayed and made available for adoption.
