Benjamin
Benjamin
Hi my name is Benjamin I am a 2 yr old male mixed breed called a potcake. I travelled to Canada all the way from Jamaica and I am looking for my forever home. Adjustment to life here has not been easy I am very anxious and nervous. I am super loyal and smart and with the right family and training I will be an amazing part of your family. I have lots of energy and want to play all the time. I have separation anxiety and I tend to urinate out the side of my crate when left alone. Due to my anxiety my house training is not perfected I tend to mark areas of interest when I feel nervous or over excited or if I feel I am being ignored. I need time to warm up to humans. I loved to be rubbed and cuddled and enjoy going on walks, but I am not the best walker on a leash. I will require some training to perfect my skills. I would be better off living in a house as I am nervous and anxious in an apartment the elevators and loud noises scare me. I will be separated from my sister for the first time and may need time to adjust being on my own. I also love dog treats, raw carrots and apples.
