Timber
Timber
Hi, my name is Timber,
Neutered Male
Husky x German Shepherd Mix
approx. 5 years old
Here's a bit of insight into my personality and background: I'm a very charming boy but am slightly shy. I'm in search for my forever home, I live a relaxed lifestyle and if it that's you too it must be meant to be! I may need some guidance to help me come out of my shell, treat me sweet and kind and I will blossom.
I'm a delightful pup brimming with love and charm. Currently, I am one of the longest term residents at the Georgina Animal Shelter, eagerly awaiting my forever home. When I first arrived, I was anxious, scared, and showed signs of resource guarding. However, I've made remarkable progress and have grown a lot over the past year. I'm your typical fun loving dog who enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it's smelling the lovely flowers or catching snowflakes. Lately, I've also shown a growing interest in playing with other dogs and showering everyone I meet with big, affectionate face kisses.
In February, I will participate in a three week board and train program with a well known local trainer in Georgina. During this time, we are able to facilitate meet & greets with those interested & approved. Given my background, I would thrive in a home that understands resource guarding and is committed to continuing training to help me improve.
Timber is located at Georgina Animal Services in Keswick, Ontario.
