Riley
Riley
Meet Riley, a brave and beautiful soul who has journeyed from a place of fear to one of hope and trust, all within the comforting walls of our shelter. Initially, Riley arrived alongside her brother, both overwhelmed by their new surroundings. However, with patience and love, Riley has blossomed, revealing her true, playful nature. She now finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, like exploring the outdoors on leisurely walks or engaging in lively play sessions with her favourite toys.
Though Riley has made remarkable progress, she still carries a bit of her past with her. Quick movements and loud noises can make her feel uneasy. However, our dedicated staff is committed to supporting Riley through her journey of healing, employing positive reinforcement techniques to build her confidence.
For Riley, a home with older children and individuals experienced in nurturing dogs with gentleness and kindness would be ideal. Her perfect family will understand that building trust takes time and will enjoy the rewarding journey of winning her affection. Riley must go into a home with no other cats. Riley can be hit or miss with other dogs, so a meet and greet is mandatory.
You can come meet Riley at Brampton Animal Services, located at 475 Chrysler Drive in Brampton. Our adoption hours are Monday to Saturday from 10am-4pm.
