The sweetest day of the year
National Cupcake Day is a nation-wide fundraiser supporting animal organizations all over Canada. Animal lovers can bake for friends, family, coworkers or classmates to raise money and spread awareness for animals in need.
You can sign up as an individual, start a team, or join a team. Better yet – why not join our team? Simply register here, choose Toronto Humane Society as your charity of choice, set up your very own fundraising page and start baking. We have posters, virtual cupcakes, and social media posts that you can use to help promote your fundraising page here.
Plus, we’ve teamed up with Mardi Michels, of Eat Live Travel Write, to host an online baking class on February 28th from 5:00pm – 6:00pm. Mardi will be demonstrating how to make “financiers” a special kind of French cupcake-like teatime treat. Click here to register.
If you aren’t interested in baking but still want to support animals, no worries. Participating bakeries are selling cupcakes from their location with proceeds going directly to animals in our care.
