Every day, Toronto Humane Society receives a growing number of requests for help from families just trying to keep up and do their best. We witness families who are forced to surrender their pets because they are unable to access the necessary care, long lines forming to access pet food at our Pet Food Bank and Community Day events, and a growing waitlist of families requesting to access our public programs such as our Public Veterinary Services, Urgent Care Program, and Pet Parent Support Network.
