Doors Open Toronto is an annual city-wide event that invites you to explore Toronto’s most architectural, cultural, and socially significant sites for free – and Toronto Humane Society is one of those locations!
With the theme of “City of Sound”, we invite you to join us on May 27th and 28th, from 10:00am to 4:30pm, for a guided tour throughout our building as you experience the unique sounds of Toronto Humane Society – from classical music to dogs getting ready to go on walks, and from bunnies crunching on carrots to soft meows, our sound is truly unique.
Prepare to be enthralled as your tour guide leads you through different areas and shares information on the history of our organization, how we care for our animals, and the programs and resources we offer to the public.
Each tour will accommodate a maximum of 20 people, with the last tour starting at 4:30pm. While flash photography is strictly prohibited due to its impact on the animals, we encourage guests to capture photos of our adorable furry friends and engage in discussions about our mission of Improving the Lives of Animals.
Be sure to share your experience with us on social media using #DOT23! We can’t wait to see you there!
Please note: The tours will run every 15 minutes. On Saturday, there will be no tours at 1:15pm or 2:45pm.
