Will I receive a tax receipt?

Event registrations are not eligible for a tax receipt. Tax receipts are available upon request for any additional donations.

What does registration include?

Your registration includes game play and cart, a vegetarian bbq lunch, post golf-reception plated vegetarian dinner, swag and prizes.  Please note that registration does not include alcoholic beverages. There will be water provided on select holes, a beverage cart and halfway houses available to purchase alcohol, and a cash bar available afterwards during the reception.

What amenities and activities can I expect?

The 2026 Humane Open offers a premiere experience. You’ll have lots of fun before each tee-off with on-hole experiences including food and beverage options, mission-bound activities, and more. With the purchase of our Humane Open Passport, golfers will face off in 7 competitions, including closest to the pin, longest drive, putting, and four hole-in-one holes with $5,000 shopping sprees and a grand prize of a $50,000 car – you’ll want to bring your best game(and luck). You’ll go home with quality swag – this year we’ve partnered again with Full Wedge Golf and each golfer will go home with their choice from over 10 quality golf polo designs, while also leaving with koozies, custom golf balls, and a variety of gifts from our incredible sponsors.

Did we mention there will be dogs?

Do I have to provide all the names of the players during the registration?

No, you can reserve a spot for a player without entering the name upon registration. This information can be provided at a later date prior to the event day and a team member will contact you. *Dinner selections must be made by September 1st, otherwise a plate option will be selected on your behalf.

What is a shotgun start?

A shotgun start allows all the players in the tournament to begin playing at the same time, but from a different place on the course. Prior to the event, you will be provided with a starting hole number.

Is the competition Scramble?

Yes. “Scramble” is when after each golfer plays their ball, the team chooses their best shot and all golfers shoot their next shot from this location.

How do we keep score?

Angus Glen uses digital scoring onsite. One player from each foursome is required to download the Golf Genius App from the App Store on their mobile device. There will be onsite training to ensure everyone is logged in and understands how to use the app before tee off.

What is the dress code?

Appropriate golf attire must be worn at all times, both on the Golf Course and in the Clubhouse. (Inappropriate Golf Course attire includes, Jeans, track suits, beach wear or frayed clothing)

The Dinner reception dress code will be Smart Casual.

Can I rent golf clubs?

Yes. You can add rental clubs and pay during registration. You can also request clubs through contacting the event team until September 1st. Clubs are also available to rent directly from the Angus Glen pro shop on event day.

If I can’t make it, can I get a refund?

No, there are no refunds, but you can transfer your registration to another player that can attend in your place or donate your spot back.
