Rising costs and inflation are a growing concern for Canadians, affecting everyday expenses like groceries, gasoline, and housing. Pet parents are also feeling the sting, with increased costs of veterinary care, food, and pet supplies.
While we offer programs such as our Pet Parent Support Network, pet food bank, and affordable vet services to support our community, we wanted to provide a little extra assistance to pet parents in need.
Last year we held two Community Day events to support our community. We had pet food and pet accessories such as carriers, dog crates, harnesses and more, all available to those who needed it. These items were donated to us, and although they’re in good condition, we had a surplus and wanted to share.
We understand that times are tough – even the smallest gift can make a difference – and that is why we’re holding another Community Day event.
If you, or someone you know, needs pet supplies, we invite you to join us on Saturday, January 28th from 12:00pm – 4:00pm for our Community Day event.
