Apples the turtle has been in the shelter since July 2013. She is a big girl and will need a lot of swimming space along with a nice large basking area. She will be nervous at first, as she was here, but as time goes by she will really come “out of her shell” to interact and socialize with her new caregiver. She also loves food and often begs for treats!
She can’t wait to find a home in which to swim, bask, and explore for the rest of her life.
If you are prepared to care for a growing turtle like Apples, speak with an Adoption Counselor for more information!
