This year, we’re excited to once again participate in Doors Open Toronto — the City of Toronto’s annual initiative that invites the public to explore some of the city’s most unique and meaningful spaces through free access and guided experiences.
Join us for a special behind-the-scenes look at Toronto Humane Society and discover how we are so much more than a shelter.
Throughout the weekend, guests can take part in small-group guided tours through both our public and non-public spaces, offering a rare opportunity to see the work that happens every day to support animals and the people who love them.

Whether you’re a longtime supporter or visiting for the first time, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how compassionate, accessible animal care changes lives across our community.
Guests are welcome to take photos during their visit. To help keep animals comfortable and stress-free, we kindly ask that visitors refrain from using flash photography.
Visitors will also have access to an exclusive Toronto Humane Society Doors Open pin, along with other merchandise available for purchase in support of our lifesaving work.
While tours are free, donations are always appreciated and help us continue providing care and support for animals across our community.
