I adopted Florence (formerly Kerrigan) so that Stella, my resident cat, could have a sister.

For a few days I was worried that Florence wasn’t adjusting, but through gentle introductions, some hissing, and lots of patience, Florence emerged from the bathroom and made herself at home.

She enjoys destroying blankets and eating chicken treats. Stella was less than thrilled to have a new sister, but slowly she is warming up to it! For an 11-year-old cat, Florence is definitely kitten-like!
